What we collect

When you join the beta, we collect your first name, email address, and the answers you give us about your founder context (what you're building, your stage, past challenges, what you could help with, and what you're looking for). We don't ask for medical, financial, or company-confidential information, and you shouldn't include any in free-text fields.

Why we collect it

Your information is used to build and understand the Foundersbeat beta cohort and, where applicable, curate peer matches. During the beta, matches are curated by us directly, so a person on our team may read your answers in order to introduce you to a relevant founder.

Who sees it

Your signup answers are visible to the small team running the Foundersbeat beta. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. If we ever introduce automated matching, this page will be updated before that change takes effect.

How long we keep it

We keep beta signup data for as long as the beta program runs, plus a reasonable period afterward to follow up with participants. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@foundersbeat.com.
